As we work on writing skills, many times it is difficult for students to notice areas where they could use some editing. By reading their papers outloud and recording them, then playing back those recordings, students are more prone to notice corrections that need to be made or even areas where they can add more clarification to help improve their writing experience. Also, they can become better at enunciation and presenting through this practice.
I would also use this so that students can make videos where they can explain their ideas or even teach another student about something interesting to them.
