New tables for a new classroom! I will be moving classrooms for the 2020-2021 school year. With this move comes space challenges. These tables will help provide space for a developmentally appropriate classroom. The rectangle tables will create a comfortable space for students during independent work and collaborative learning times. The kidney shaped table will give students a space to work on handwriting in small groups and one on one work. These tables will leave a space designated for play-based learning in our classroom. Having room for play-based learning is so important at the Kindergarten level to build social-emotional skills, cognitive development, and self-regulation.
