Having a mixture of four different languages at one time in class presented a few challenges. Everyone learned to communicate with pictures, facial expressions, and one interpreter of one language.
The only two males in this class of females were surprisingly cooperative. My girls learned many things from just these two boys. They learned to be assertive and create more outside of a Dramatic Play Kitchen Center. More and more, the girls created by hand, and waited for their turn to share a laptop.
If this project is funded, these students will be able to continue blossoming into forward-thinking citizens that this world needs. The girls will be able to continue exploring their world safely from home until they have the funds to purchase more devices.
My boys will take their memory abroad, that girls were interested in technology. In their future with the workforce, it should not be shocking to see that the Ladies are, "A Force to be Reckoned."
These students are learning to be respectful to "Self" and "Others." Using these devices will help them continue to read or develop more ways to communicate in the future.
I would love to continue to inspire my students to create "blueprints" for their wonderful future.
