Our students deserve the the best! I would love to expand my classroom library to allow my students to have more choice in selecting books to read. The majority of the books requested are a part of the "Branches" series from Scholastic. These books are designed to help students bridge the gap between reading picture books and transitioning to chapter books. They are the perfect books for my second graders as they are gaining confidence in their reading ability. The books included in this proposal will not only give my students more choice, it will also diversify their education. The book packages includes The "Ninja" social-emotional learning books which helps students process their emotional wellbeing. This is much needed for my students and would supply an excellent outlet for them. Thank you for considering my proposal!
