I want books from a rich variety of topics that are relevant to my students, what we are learning and their interests. They will be able to take the magazines and books home in order to share the learning with the entire family and apply the lessons and topics to the class room lessons and adventures. I will use the magazines to enrich the students with real world events going on around us in kid friendly language. images, and charts they can understand and learn from. Some can even be used as a springboard to deeper learning.
