Since I am a first year teacher these materials will provide my students the opportunity to have the appropriate resources needed to be successful in the classroom. I have placed whiteboard markers and erasers for my students to be able to practice the mathematical content in class before beginning their independent work. I have also placed scissors and glue sticks on my list because there are numerous items that we asked our students to cut out and clue down in their notebooks in class. Finally, I have placed markers for my students to draw and encourage their use of creativity in the classroom.
