This project focuses on students being able to relax in a comfortable setting while engaging in the classroom instruction. The students that I serve suffer from Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) and they need additional supports to aid in their learning.
By donating these items to my learning environment, you will be assisting with improving student focus and engagement. The bean bags, carpet, buzzers, and dart board will assist in having a calming, relaxing alternative seating other than student desks, and promote student motivation. These resources will also allow students to sit with their peers collaboratively and promote student discourse.
