With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of fiction and non-fiction books will allow students to choose what they are interested in and will help keep students of a young age interested and motivated to read.
These books will not allow my students to read independently at their own grade level but expose themselves to diversified text in morals, culture, and values.
Book sets will enable students more practice at home as they continue to increase and grow in fluency, building reading skills, and comprehension.
Behaviors books such as Tattle Tongue, Interrupting Chicken, My mouth is a volcano etc., will be used as examples for desirable and non desirable behaviors in a learning environments within the classroom. These stories and visuals are extremely important to a successful learning community.
