My students, like many other around the nation, have had their school year cut short due to the COVID-19 crisis. These students have worked hard, shown great character, and shown patience as they continue to meet state academic standards, as well as continue to grow into amazing, talented human beings. Through distance learning, we have been able to connect with our students and their families. Creating a strong relationship and respect for one another.
By filling these bags, I hope to give my students something to commemorate our year together, as we were unable to do so together. These bags will provide them with fun and safe ways to have an amazing summer with their families. The items supports our social/emotional learning and growth we worked on throughout the year. The students have worked diligently in creating and maintaining relationships with family members and classmates, being good role models, and building empathy for others.
