We can explore culture through the arts and children will learn resiliency and patience as they master the art of paper folding and various art techniques that can be used with crayons, but can also be used with color pencils, and pastels. Students will learn and explore the fundamentals of art and see their skills progress with each project. Students will also learn and build on paper folding techniques as the start at the beginner and make their way to masters of origami.
Origami and art will tie in what they learn as we explore stories from different countries.
