Do you ever sit back and wonder where everything around you came from? I do. And I'm realizing more and more that it all began with a dream! The device you're holding, a dream. The chair you're sitting in, a dream! The music you listen you to in your car, a dream! As the Spanish teacher, at my school, I'd like to provide students with another opportunity to dream! When we dive into a beautifully illustrated piece of literature, we are given another opportunity to dream big! I'm planning to incorporate the materials listed here in several lesson plans, my students will have an opportunity to not only compare languages, but cultures as well. As my students learn Spanish these resources will provide context to the new vocabulary words they are learning! My biggest goal for my students is that they'd walk away from our time together with a well rounded foundation as it relates to learning this new language. In addition, this project will help me provide my students with another perspective, another voice, another way to express themselves; essentially another opportunity to dream!
