Prior to Distant Learning, my students accessed their materials from a community cart at their table. All classroom materials were shared among the students. In this new era of teaching amid social distancing concerns, shared learning tools are a thing of the past. In order to provide a safe, self-directed educational environment where students are independent, it is important to give them a storage system that is easily accessible.
This storage system will provide my students with the opportunity to store learning tools such crayons, pencils, scissors, glue, workbooks and manipulatives. This system will allow the students to follow the new social distancing procedures and guidelines.
