Imagine an empty classroom - not one book on the shelves! How terrible is that?! I want to create a magical, print-rich environment that is overflowing with books on a variety of topics and levels. Third graders are at such a unique and transformative age. Developing confidence and a love of reading is critical at this stage. I want to build an exciting, multi-leveled library that will speak to students' interests while making literacy accessible and exciting to all. A comfy, cozy library area, filled with wonderful books will be a magnet in the classroom.
