My students, in the two schools I teach, create from the moment they enter the art room to the moment they leave. When their class projects are complete, they have choices for how to fill their remaining creative time. These choices can include LEGOs, magnetic tiles, and other building sets listed in this project. These materials inspire architectural and engineering skills while letting creativity thrive. Engaging students through the arts can lead students to be innovative thinkers in all areas of STEM projects. Artists and designers are important players in the STEM world!
