I am excited about this project because I want to make learning more fun and engaging for all my students! These morning bins will replace using worksheets for morning work when the students arrive at school.
This will allow my students to explore, play, communicate, and get excited to start the day. These morning bins provide meaningful practice for basic skills and can be differentiated. Some of the skills my students will be working on include rhyming, identifying letters and sounds, name activities, shapes, numbers, and sorting. Students will also have opportunities to work on fine motor skills as well as social/emotional development. I also plan on using these bins during small groups as an independent group rotation to limit screen time on Ipads.
