Inspired by the popular mindset idea that hard work and effort can lead to success, a growth mindset library can illustrate fictional characters, stories, or exemplary biographies that bring to life the idea of a growth mindset - taking risks, demonstrating persistence and effort, understanding that mistakes are normal when we try hard things, and growing from those experiences. The books in each collection will provide content and examples for great classroom read alouds, discussions, and projects. When students believe that dedication and hard work can change their performance in school, they grow to become resilient, successful students! Even though our school may be starting virtually this year, our goals are still the same to create critically thinking, lifelong learners. Through the use of daily read alouds, book studies, and virtual discussions, our students will be able to overcome challenges not only in their distance learning experiences, but also in everyday life!
