Currently, we do not have any technology in our classroom. This is a disadvantage to our students because there are plenty of times we could use technology like Inspire Jr. in our classroom. When we are on a topic about plants we could use technology to watch a time-lapse of plants growing, research different types of plants, pictures of different plants, and create an interactive quiz on plants. This would allow us to explore many other options in the classroom that we are not able to do right now. When students ask questions for a particular topic we could learn together and look it up. This is especially helpful for the special education students in our classroom since they are mostly visual learners they would be able to make the connection on a topic we are learning about more through hands-on learning.
I would love to give my students this opportunity. It would make the greatest difference in our classroom.
