Teaching has become a completely different species in the last couple of months. My needs as a teacher and those of the students are now different although the goal stays the same and that's to educate. As a teacher wife of another teacher and parent I now need to be able to conduct my classes while canceling outside noises. Such as my children Zooming with their teacher and my husband with his students. My students deserve an environment that is about them and their academic needs without my students and me being distracted by outside noises.
