Our Pre-K teachers understand the importance of exposing young children to fun, interactive, and engaging literature. Teaching them that books are a pathway to the world can be the foundation for their love for learning and education. 鈥淭hat's the thing about books, they let you travel without moving your feet.鈥濃 Jhumpa Lahiri Our Pre-K program is in the process of switching to the Emerging Language and Literacy Curriculum. This curriculum is research-based and literacy-rich. The program requires a large number of books and with 3 Pre-K teachers, the cost quickly began to rise. We want to be able to ensure that our teachers have the materials necessary to fully implement this curriculum for our Pre-K students. These books will be used as key components in teaching weekly skills, themes, read-aloud, and center time
