I like to provide immediate feedback to my students in my 7th grade math class.
One of my classroom mottos is "Mistakes are Expected, Respected, Inspected, and Corrected."
Students complete their computations and graphs on individual student whiteboards which they then hold up for me to view and give appropriate feedback.
The use of white boards allows me to correct my students' mistakes when they make them so they don't practice making the same mistake over and over again. An extra benefit is that students love writing on white boards!
