I am requesting a small copy machine and one black ink toner for our English department at my rural, low-income high school. Our school is relatively large; we have around 1400 students and over 100 faculty members, but we only have two copy machines for the entire faculty to use to make paper copies of texts and handouts for students. Nearly every day, our two copy machines become jammed, and we are often unable to get a technician to fix the machines in a timely fashion. We have spent countless hours before, during, and after school fighting with the copy machines just to make the paper copies that our students need to learn.
By donating to our project, you will help put needed paper copies of texts and instructional materials in the hands of our students, many of whom do not have reliable Internet access at home and rely on print resources provided by their teachers.
By assisting us in our quest to get a reliable copy machine and toner, you will help us provide the paper copies that our students desperately need for their English courses. I am greatly appreciative of any amount of money you are willing to donate towards helping our students and English faculty!
