A document camera is an essential item in any classroom as teachers model for students how to successfully approach a task. This particular document camera will project the image onto your computer. From there you can share the screen for students during live learning sessions or during recorded lessons.
Whether teaching remotely, or in the classroom, a document camera allows students to connect up close and personal with the learning objective through modeling. You can model writing, show a science experiment in progress, use math manipulatives to explain a concept, or show a book as you read aloud to students all using a document camera. Having this document camera and mouse to use with my laptop will significantly improve my ability to teach remotely and will also be very useful in the classroom once we resume teaching in person.
