My project list contains items that my nonverbal students can use during online instructional time. I will create picture cards (using the paper, laminate, velcro, and printer cartridges) that can be used when I am asking questions about their emotions, weather, day of the week, month, and concepts (same or different). Their parents will hand the picture cards to their children during the lesson. The students are learning that the picture cards have a meaning. This is the only way that they can learn how to communicate. The parents will become inspired because they can help their children. Their dreams are to see their children make requests. We use "if then" boards at school. Students can use them at home, "If you finish your work then you can get your toy." The students are unable to continue practicing the skills due to the lack of materials in the home environment. Please support my project, Let my students continue practicing their communication skills.
