The rocks and paint that you provide will help all students feel connected to the school and the community! Every single student in the school (Grades 6-8) will receive a rock and time to paint a rock that is unique to them. I originally found this from another teacher and really thought that all students would benefit from a chance to show what is important to them or how they are one of a kind! Each student in our school is unique and sometimes they don't always have the means to express themselves. Please help my students recognize what we already know about them... that they are special and we have missed them terribly! We want our students to know that they have a special place and their rock would help them know that they are always going to hold a special place during their time at EJHS.
