One of my goals as a teacher is to instill the love of reading into my students. I want them to escape into a new world and explore all of the possibilities that books bring. These books will allow my students to collaborate and discuss books together. I have selected a variety of books in various amounts. My hope is to give my students the opportunity to create their own book club where they are able to think beyond limits and create purposeful talk. I have selected many books I loved as a child that the students can turn to during quiet time. I even added a book that my students and I can enjoy together as a whole class.
