All of my students had the advantage of reading different books during the school year by using the ones in my classroom library. Students were always borrowing books to take home and read because they did not have any of their own at home. These have been some challenging times with the school closures and many students have not had any books to read at home. I work in a small town and many parents cannot afford to buy reading materials for their children. Many of them have to use any income they have for bare necessities at the time. I would like to provide each student with 3 books each to build their home library this summer and keep their love for reading alive.
