In my classroom most of the learning and lessons take place on our meeting carpet. The current carpet in my room is older and has a crazy design on it that makes it harder to create designated spots for children to sit on. This usually leads to students sitting very close to each other and getting distracted by the design of the carpet. With this new carpet students will be able to have and see their own carpet spot. This will give students a sense of space. Keeping them a healthy distance apart and helping them stay focused during group lessons. We spend a lot of time on this carpet and my goal is to create a safe, healthy and positive learning environment for all the students who ever enter my classroom. The product I have selected has designated spaces for children to sit and is calming neutral colors to keep my young students focused.
