Nearly all of my students do not have access to BOOKS! To keep their brains "swimming" this summer, I will continually meet with students on a weekly basis and have students complete challenges that connect with entertaining and engaging fiction and nonfiction text that are embedded within the Common Core State Standards. CONNECTION IS KEY during this time of social distancing, so why not create opportunities that allow students to enjoy reading and sharing their thinking with their friends ONLINE? I will be then mailing the books to the students to keep!

About my class
