My students love to read, but they need books to read over the summer. Often students return in the fall having not read. Their reading levels "slide" back. I hope to prevent this. My hope is to provide each student with a bundle of books to read over the summer, with a variety of titles that will grab their interest. I do believe this will make all the difference and that they will return to school in the fall as stronger readers. And they will have taken some adventures with the characters in the books!
