As the team sponsor, I do not receive funding for the Esports team. Our team is in need of gaming equipment to use in competitive play with other schools. The students will use this equipment to compete against other teams in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournaments. This game is widely used in high school level Esports. As Esports becomes more prevalent at the high school level, my hope is that stakeholders will see the value of this growing sport. The Benefits of Esports in Schools: 1. Esports in Schools Brings Success to More Students 2. Inclusion is Good for Students and the Community 3. Students Learn Valuable Skills Playing Esports in School 4. Esports in Schools Fosters STEM Learning 5. Esports in Schools Expands College and Career Opportunities
