My students are in need of a variety of tools to help them succeed in their everyday lives. The items requested for this project vary from timers which help my students with anxiety to books on social-emotional learning. Many of my students like to know how much time they have to continue working before they are finished.
My students also need ways in which they can calm down and center themselves when frustrated and upset. Kinetic sand is a great way for students to re-center themselves. My students love to see examples in literature that represent who they are and so that is why I am requesting diversity books as well.
