As an upcoming first year teacher, I am trying to build my classroom library up for my student's benefit. Through distance learning, I will be able to read these books to my students over Zoom and through recorded lessons. I will also be able to use the sticky chart paper to further explore themes and ideas in the books with my class.
During distance learning, we have been working on our social/emotional skills so I have added books that will help my students to understand their emotions during this tricky time.
As an optimist, I am hoping that we will return to the classroom this upcoming school year where students can use the kickballs outside at recess time and we can watch videos with the help of the Bluetooth speaker.
