Leaders will be able to have hands on learning experiences not only in Math but also in Reading. Through the use of magnetic letters and plastic balls students will be able to read and spell words. They will also have sturdy individualized sight word sets to help achieve mastery of sight words. Anchor charts will be posted throughout the classroom to serve as visual reminders and/or reference points for what the students are learning. For essential skills in math, such as addition, students will also have the opportunity to learn the concept by using manipulatives.
