I would like to provide my students with essential school supplies that are needed for their start in middle school next year. Their neighborhood has been heavily affected by COVID-19. My students were not able to grab any supplies before our school doors were shut and I know that many of them will not be able to buy brand new school supplies. My students come from amazing families; however, they are not able to obtain the resources they would normally need such as notebooks, folders, pencils and even erasers. Since we were not able to close the year together, I want to send off my class with the best resources possible. My students have shown that the human spirit is one of ability, perseverance and courage that no disability can steal away.
I want my deserving students to have what they need in order to start off their middle school journey on the right path. I want to provide them with graduation books, coloring books and activity drawing that they do not have access to. They would be able to receive card games, note pads among other small trinkets that will provide them joy. These materials will be put in a package and given to my students! My small class deserves a small token of appreciation for their legacy left at our school and in my heart. By donating to this project, you will lending a helping hand not just to eleven students, but eleven families that have limited resources and giving future middle schoolers essential supplies needed.
