Special education students are faced with many challenges. Learning at home should be a close to learning at school for them.
At school the students have some access to use tablets, but at home they don't. Having a tablet that they can use on demand with familiar programs will make a difference, for them.
It would reduce loss of skills while they are away from school. A tablet would provide them a chance to keep learning when the school building is closed. The tablet will give access for teacher taught lessons at home for the students.
