Help me help my students transition to distance learning with a new learning carpet!
During this past Covid-19 time, as a teacher, I am most concerned with finding ways to invite my students back into my classroom that are safe and adhere to this new socially distant environment. Learning carpets help to define spaces within our classroom and the one we currently use has seen better days. For one, the carpet is too small. I had to tape an additional piece of carpet to extend it myself. It also never seemed to get “clean“ no matter what we would do! This carpet would not only help define spaces between the children but it will hold up to our new enhanced cleaning procedures.
The school district is in an economically challenged area and there is just no money in the budget to replace this seemingly insignificant item but it is an important part of our classroom.
Please find it in your heart to help us with this necessary part of our environment.
