My students and I live on a Native American Reservation where art is a huge part of their family culture. I would love to ink their world by teaching printmaking. Printmaking has been used in a variety of forms such as metal and stone throughout many cultures.
Using the requested foam boards my students will have the opportunity to create a design then brayer ink and press their image. This technique will give the students the opportunity to use multiple colors and mass produce. For this project I can give my students precision cut materials using both types of paper cutters requested to ensure beautiful art projects for display.
