No challenge too big, no victory too small. I chose to put together this shopping list for this upcoming year that can be utilized for years to come. I work at an outstanding school with some of the most amazing kids I've ever met. I want to provide items that can be used in the general education setting when students are struggling to focus on the task at hand. I included items to enrich their educational experience and help develop coping skills for their educational journey. Many things can be used for students who need adaptations in the classroom, sensory seeking or avoiding tools or fidgets. The main goal is to help students reach their social emotional goals! They will be used in the general education setting to support IEP goals. My hopeful outcome is for each student to have equal opportunity to learn in the gen ed setting with the different accommodations that can be provided from the items on the list!
