Due to the pandemic and anticipating what school will look like in the Fall of 2020, I have chosen materials which are absolutely necessary to the pre-k way to work and learn through play. To insure the safety of the children, I am requesting enough materials so each child will have their own supplies.
The materials I am requesting are instrumental in developing readiness skills in pre-kindergarten children. I immerse my class in hands-on activities daily to develop fine motor skills essential for writing their names, letters and numerals, drawing basic shapes, people and pictures, and creating original art work and class projects. A variety of materials allow the children to create independently at learning centers, as well as through teacher-directed activities.
