My students learn best when they are able to use physical materials or tactile devices as a support to teacher instruction. Magnetic devices will allow us to count and build to understand physics, math and logical reasoning. The kinetic sand will allow us to write in alternative ways that are more engaging and entertaining to the students. We can also use kinetic sand to explore multiple concepts in Science.
By writing and spelling into the sand I will be able to more effectively engage students in the activity and build stronger skills to foster growth in our classroom.
Using hand's on material is a proven way to keep students enjoying their lessons and build lifelong learners.
