My students are living in the epicenter of where COVID exists. They have been going through many storms dealing with COVID, losing family members due to COVID, dealing with remote learning with not having a computer/ internet, not having enough food; however they are persevering.
My students are living through a storm and I want them to be able to hang tight to their umbrella because with every storm there will be a rainbow hanging over their head.
I want them to see the other side of the storm. I know that when they hold onto their umbrella, they will feel a sense of accomplishment knowing that they persevered and got through the storm. I know the umbrella will give them a sense of hope.
