Many of my students come from a low SES family and do not have the means to provide basic school supplies for their child. In addition, some students will need modified matierials - loop scissors.
I also want to create 'at school' and 'at home' laminated file folders for students to use. For example, the language arts folder will have the alphabet on one side with the letters individually velcro down, while the right side of the folder will be a work space with velcro templates in learning letter sounds, CVC word work, and high frequency words. Each student will have the same type of folder for home and school use. This way, it is consistent and familiar to the students regardless of where they are learning from.
