Our library, and classroom novel sets are old and outdated. We have two BIPOC novels, and they are not age appropriate. This has to change! We need to show BIPOC heroes, struggles, and history in our curriculum. We can’t afford to change it, so I am hoping we can with help.
Through these materials, students will experience BIPOC stories. They will give voice to the minority in our school. Please contribute to lifting student experiences and voices. They want to be heard and students want to read about their experiences.
