It's simple: When students have an individual copy of a novel they are more engaged in their learning. I have always enjoyed teaching curriculum concepts through novels. I believe it is a more engaging and memorable way to connect with new concepts and build on existing knowledge. Having these novels in my classroom will show my students that learning can be fun and adventurous. They will generate wonderful and thought provoking conversations that will engage all students. After a not-so-normal school year, my students deserve to be drawn in by and interested in the material I present.

About my class
