The creation of "Game On!" would allow our students to explore and discover STEM ideas in a non-threatening, relaxed atmosphere. Students would engage their imagination and their creative thinking; while at same nurturing their competitive spirit in a positive way .
Students will be able to build social skills such as teamwork, cooperation, and sharing through hands on gaming; they may not even realize they're learning at the same time. This activity will highlight creative play and free choice (which in a normal school day may not happen often). Students will also enhance time management skills and become more mindful of their choices.
