I just moved to the fifth grade and am using Spalding Education in the classroom. The books I am requesting are used on a daily basis in the program. They are read to students to teach both comprehension and fluency. We will also use them as research and background for writing projects that we will complete throughout the year. Not only will these books help students improve in Language Arts, but the majority will help them explore US History and Science. They can travel back in time and explore the Revolutionary War Era with Ellen Toliver. They can dive into informational texts and learn all about Hurricanes or Pluto. With these books, students will become immersed in all subjects for the school year.

About my class
