These books will help me connect to the students I will be teaching this coming year. I will be new to my Title 1 classroom and want to help my students fall in love with reading! These books have an array of characters of many races and backgrounds, just like my students! I want them to be able to see themselves and each other in the stories they read with me. Whether we are learning in person or online, my students will benefit from seeing and hearing about characters just like them, and will fall in love with reading, thus making them want to read more, and more, and more!

About my class
