I currently work in the low income community of South Gate, California. Since the Coronavirus pandemic hit, my students lives have changed drastically. Many of them have limited resources at home and rely on our school for these essential items. Unfortunately, the lack of students entering the school building has resulted in our school's budget being cut immensely. As a result, we no longer have enough money to buy our students' supplies like we usually do. By donating to this project, I will be providing my 2nd grade students with individual supplies needed for daily learning when we reenter the classroom this fall. They will use these items individually to engage in daily learning activities.
