The way that this piano will make a difference in my students' learning is by them feeling and hearing the beautiful sounds the piano can make. As a teacher, my wish is to introduce my students to as many instruments as I possibly can, as I believe that music ignites will all parts of the student's literacy, including the social-emotional, motor, and language skills. Music helps the body and mind work together.
A piano is a powerful instrument. I believe all my students should get a chance to learn the sounds the piano can make. We serve students who are from low-income families, which means for some students a piano might be something that they have never seen nor heard before.
