Allowing my students to learn math, reading, and science skills while having the manipulatives right in front of them, will encourage a greater rate of participation and willingness to learn.
My students will be able to see and hold the concepts they are trying to learn, such as telling time, place value, and comprehension skills. It is often not enough to be taught solely through listening; allowing my students to have these materials, will fill that gap in learning made by those who learn in ways different than the majority.
